Located far in the woods of Harwich, is a quaint family owned business located on 12 secluded acres and surrounded by abundant conservation land. The Cape Cod Lavender Farm is budding with a variety of wildlife and plants. It has such a serene vibe that we suggest visiting anytime of year- but be sure to try to make it during the annual harvest! During June/July there is an abundance of lavender and the colors are truly amazing.
**The farm is located down a dirt path via Weston Woods Road in Harwich, MA. If you feel like you are driving in the middle of nowhere and are a bit unsure.. chances are you are headed the right way! Drive slow :)**
As you make your way around the grounds don’t be surprised if you are greeted by the fluffy cat who lives onsite or the two black labs. There is so much to be seen and taken in here- from the enchanted fairy garden, walking paths, and fields of lavender buzzing with bumble bees.
Accessibility getting around the farm: the ground is all either compact dirt or grass and easy to maneuver in a Convaid Cruiser and I would imagine a wheelchair would work just as well from our experience. When first heading down towards the fields there is a bit of hill though not very steep at all.

Later on as you wander you will find other paths leading to other areas which have more incline and are more narrow. We were happy enough to stay at the first lavender field and fairy garden as it was truly enchanting and had a great breeze despite the high temps!
Be sure to stop in the peaceful shop, dimmed with string lights and of course the cleansing scent of lavender. There are variety of home and beauty products to be had! The shop is very tiny making it feel even more special, it is accessible with a ramp but just be mindful that it will be a tight space. We fit fine enough with our Convaid Cruiser and the staff was more than accommodating. However if you are a person who feels overwhelmed in smaller spaces it might not be as ideal!
For us what truly made this adventure, besides the peaceful immersion in nature, was the people. We were greeted from start to finish with warm smiles and helpful hands from the staff. The family owned business vibe was ever present.
